With the caboose being a preserved historical restoration, we apologize the caboose is not handicap accessible.

It would be extraordinarily difficult to retrofit an 60 - 80 year old heavy steel caboose to be handicap accessible -- the doors are small, the platform is small, it's crowded inside, there is a ladder up to the cupola and access from the ground outside is actually by climbing a ladder up to the platform -- that is how they were built years ago, in order to fit on the rails.

Finished in very attractive natural knotty pine walls and ceiling.

We kept everything almost original in the cabooses, so it not like a motel room 
You will be staying in a REAL CABOOSE!

Of course we added some of the comforts of home.

This one has 2 Twin Beds &  Bunks

Bedroom  basics includes sheets, blankets, pillows.

The cabooses are nicely decorated + clean inside, fully furnished including fresh linens 

If your staying a couple days? Fresh linens are available if needed; there is no daily maid service.

Bring your own towels, lotions, soaps etc. We only supply summer time bedding. 
Bring a heavy blankets, if you feel you'll need one. The cabooses are heated.

Walter and Karen will be happy to assist in making your stay a pleasant one.

Nature, wildlife and the outdoors have proven time and again to be a wonderful avenue for enjoyment, entertainment and education. Often alluring, on occasion incredible and sometimes downright astounding, explore the depths of Pennsylvania Nature.

We have a lot of wildlife here in the mountains, bring your fishing pole & camera.
